It seems we all know that carrots are a highly valuable healing food. So, don’t forget to eat them raw as much as possible. The vitamin A they contain boosts the functioning of the gastrointestinal tract, liver, and kidneys. Many cosmetologists refer to carrot juice as an elixir of health and beauty. For those with dull and dry skin, I recommend drinking half a glass of juice on an empty stomach, followed by a mask made of 2 tablespoons of grated carrot, an egg yolk, and a few drops of oil. Leave the mask on for 25 to 30 minutes, then rinse with warm water followed by cold water.
Tomatoes, which are rich in vitamins A, B, and C, soften and refresh the skin of the face. The organic acids in these vegetables cleanse the skin and promote cell regeneration. Tomato juice can be used as a lotion and is also helpful for sunburns.
MASKS FOR OILY SKIN
Pass a tomato through a fine sieve and use the resulting puree to apply to your face and neck. After 20 minutes, wash it off. Gently pat on a nourishing cream with your fingertips.
MASKS FOR DRY SKIN
Mix grated tomato with 1 tablespoon of potato starch and a few drops of oil. Grate 2 tablespoons of zucchini, combine it with 1 tablespoon of soaked oatmeal, and apply it to your face.
Both masks should be rinsed off after 20 minutes with a cotton pad soaked in milk.
