The Magic of the Stars

Astrology

– Astrology, literally translated as “the science of stars,” is the result of years of observation regarding the positions of stars and planets and the events they influence. Astrologers use horoscopes to determine how celestial bodies affect people’s lives and destinies.

This science has experienced both a surge in interest and periods of silence. It’s hard to pinpoint an ancient astrologer, but it’s known that horoscopes have even been found in the sarcophagi of pharaohs in Ancient Egypt.

There’s a record of the Italian thinker Tommaso Campanella creating a horoscope for the future King of France, Louis XIV, clearly predicting when he would ascend to the throne and how long he would live.

– I know that you use horoscopes in your practical work as a doctor?

– That’s true. The solar horoscope of a patient helps me—it’s a unique health map. Our bodies are highly responsive to any fluctuations in the cosmos. Therefore, a horoscope allows us to determine each person’s “safety margin” and pay attention to vulnerable organs.

Moreover, I closely examine my patients’ hands. After all, palmistry is the younger sister of astrology. It reflects the “radiance of the stars” on our hands. For instance, the shape and color of nails often change with chronic lung diseases, while the color of the palms can indicate liver issues. You can even discern a patient’s character by looking at their hand. Astrologers believe that a person captures cosmic energy at birth. That’s why knowing your cosmogram is so important.

Each planet corresponds to a specific point in the body—there are seven such points. Mercury, for example, is said to influence the “third eye,” the center that coordinates the work of the brain’s hemispheres, and thus intellectual activity. Therefore, a person born under this planet will be inclined toward intellectual pursuits and will easily make friends.

– I’ve heard that the influence of celestial bodies on us changes every day…

– Astrologers believe that on Saturday, Saturn reigns—the planet of limitations—and its influence can manifest as a blockage of a person’s life energy. Sunday, on the other hand, is the day of the Sun. It’s a day for self-improvement, so don’t sweat the small stuff.

We often say, “Monday is a tough day,” without realizing that it’s influenced by the Moon—a fast and unpredictable planet. That’s why moods can shift so quickly on this day. Interestingly, all the specific functions of the female body are attuned to the Moon. So, it’s no surprise to see the whims and variability of a woman’s character.

Tuesday is ruled by Mars. If you have work that requires physical strength and endurance, it’s best to tackle it on Tuesday. Wednesday is under Mercury’s influence, which I’ve already mentioned, while Thursday is governed by Jupiter, whose support can come from unexpected places when dealing with business matters. Finally, Friday is influenced by Venus. Under this planet, things are calm and joyful. Personal happiness may just smile upon you on this day.
