How to Make Meat Knedliky Stuffed with Plums in Sour Cream Sauce
In a bowl, combine the ground meat with spices, the egg, chopped herbs, milk, and oil, mixing well. Cut the plums in half.
Form small balls from the meat mixture, place them on a board, create a small indentation, and insert a half (or quarter) of a plum. Shape the knedliky.
Coat the knedliky in a mixture of flour and breadcrumbs, then fry them in oil until golden brown on both sides.
Place the fried stuffed knedliky in a cast-iron pot, pour in a mixture of water and sour cream along with the spices, and add a whole onion and the plum halves. Simmer on low heat for 30 minutes.
Serve the finished knedliky with plums alongside mashed potatoes, garnished with fresh parsley and tomatoes.
