- 1 can of sardines
- 1 small onion (diced)
- 1 small carrot (grated)
- 2 eggs
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 1/2 bunch of parsley leaves
- 5-6 slices of bread
- salt, black pepper, mayonnaise, oil
- Sauté the onion in vegetable oil until golden brown.
- Add the grated carrot and cook for about 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, mash the sardines with a fork, then mix in the grated boiled eggs, finely chopped parsley, and grated garlic into the mashed sardines.
- Next, combine the sautéed carrot and onion with the sardine mixture.
- Add mayonnaise and season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Toast the bread.
- Spread the mixture over the toasted bread.
