Crunchy Cabbage Salad with Apples, Carrots, and Bell Peppers

Start by cleaning and shredding the cabbage into thin strips, then mix the cabbage with salt.

Next, peel and finely chop the apples (sprinkle them with lemon juice to prevent browning), finely chop the carrots and sweet bell peppers, and combine everything with the cabbage. Dress the mixture with sour cream and sugar.

Garnish the salad with finely chopped dill or parsley when serving.

For every 500g of cabbage, use 200g of fresh apples, two carrots, 100g of sweet bell pepper, one cup of sour cream, and half a teaspoon each of salt and sugar, plus some fresh herbs.
