Beef Stew with Prunes


Cut the meat into pieces, season with salt and pepper, and sauté. Then add fried onions and tomato paste, pour in broth, and braise for nearly an hour. After that, add rinsed prunes and continue to braise for another 20 minutes, adding a bay leaf at the end.
Ingredients: 1.2 kg (about 2.6 lbs) of beef, 100 g (about 3.5 oz) of fat, 200 g (about 7 oz) of onions, 150 g (about 5.3 oz) of tomato paste, and 300 g (about 10.6 oz) of prunes.
