Pork Patties with Barley

Ingredients:

  • 300g ground pork (approx. 10.5 oz)
  • 1 cup pearl barley
  • 1 egg
  • 1 onion
  • Semolina for breading
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • Salt and spices to taste

Instructions:

In a bowl, combine the ground pork and pearl barley, then add the egg. Grate the onion finely and mix it into the meat mixture. Season with salt and spices to taste.

Thoroughly mix the filling and shape it into patties. Coat each patty in semolina and fry them in a well-heated skillet with vegetable oil until cooked through.

These patties are best served with vegetables.
