Fish and Mushroom Julien

Creamy Salmon and Mushroom Bake

Ingredients:

  • 200g of salmon fillet (approx. 7 oz)
  • 5-6 champignon mushrooms
  • 1 small onion
  • 150ml of 10% cream (approx. 2/3 cup)
  • 50g of grated cheese (approx. 1/2 cup)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Finely chop the onion and sauté it in vegetable oil until it becomes translucent.
  2. Wash, clean, and slice the mushrooms, then add them to the onions.
  3. Sauté until the mushrooms are partially cooked, then add the salmon cut into small pieces.
  4. Season with salt and pepper. Cook for 5 minutes.
  5. Transfer everything into individual ramekins.
  6. Pour the cream over the mixture.
  7. Sprinkle with grated cheese.
  8. Bake in the oven at 200°C (about 400°F) for approximately 10 minutes.
