Cut the pumpkin in half, peel it, and dice it into small cubes. Boil the cubes in salted water with bay leaves and spices.
Then, coat them in flour and sauté in a skillet.
Grease a baking dish with oil, sprinkle with breadcrumbs, and layer the sautéed pumpkin pieces, sprinkling cheese in between. Pour a mixture of sour cream (a thicker, tangier version of sour cream common in Eastern European cuisine) blended with eggs over the top, sprinkle with grated cheese, and bake in the oven for half an hour.
You will need: a small pumpkin, 1 onion, 50g of oil, 4 tablespoons of flour, 2 eggs, 100g of grated Dutch cheese, 1 cup of sour cream, 2 tablespoons of crushed breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, bay leaves, and spices.
