Zrazy

If you have leftover mashed potatoes, I like to make zrazy from them.

To start, I thoroughly mix the mashed potatoes with eggs and shape them into round patties.

In the center of each patty, I place some filling, seal the edges, coat them in flour, and fry them on both sides. For the filling: I slice an onion into thin strips and sauté it, then add 2 boiled eggs, finely chopped, along with salt and ground pepper to taste.

Before serving, I drizzle the zrazy with melted fat or sour cream. For 500g of mashed potatoes, you’ll need 1 egg, 3 tablespoons of flour, and 100g of butter and sour cream.
