- carp (whole fresh fish): 2.2 lbs
- lemon: 1
- fish seasoning and salt to taste, lettuce leaves, basil, and dill for garnish
- Clean the fish by rinsing it, gutting it, and removing the scales. Cut off the head and tail. Squeeze the juice from half the lemon and set the other half aside for garnish.
- Lightly rub the carp inside and out with salt, drizzle with lemon juice, and sprinkle with fish seasoning.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or grease it with oil, place the carp on it, and make several diagonal cuts across the fish. Bake in the oven at medium heat for 20-25 minutes until the fish is fully cooked. Transfer the hot carp to a plate and garnish with lettuce leaves, basil, dill, and lemon wedges.
