BREAKFAST.
A glass of fruit juice. A generous serving of oatmeal soaked overnight in whole milk or sour cream (before eating, add honey, grated apple, and 50g of chopped nuts), along with a large slice of bread with butter and 1-2 cups of cocoa.
SECOND BREAKFAST.
A cup of broth with an egg yolk or a glass of fruit juice mixed with honey and an egg yolk, or a large slice of bread with butter and cold cuts, topped with finely chopped onions, and a glass of beer. Alternatively, you could have a slice of bread with butter, 50g of chocolate, and a glass of yogurt.
LUNCH.
A bowl of borscht or a cup of broth. Pork, fatty beef, or lamb. Side dishes could include pasta, potatoes, dumplings, or rice. A vegetable dish generously drizzled with oil, and a salad with oil and mayonnaise. A thick gravy, and for dessert, milk jelly, fruits with sour cream, or ice cream. Try to wash it all down with milk. If you fancy a cup of coffee, enjoy it with cream.
AFTERNOON SNACK.
1-2 cups of cocoa or hot chocolate and a piece of cake or two pastries. Alternatively, you could have a serving of meat salad dressed with mayonnaise, along with a slice of bread with butter. Pair it with a glass of beer. It’s also good to have a portion of cold cuts—like sausage, ham, or a few sardines in oil with bread.
DINNER.
2-3 eggs, or scrambled eggs with bacon, fried potatoes, and spinach sautéed in olive oil, a large slice of bread with butter and radishes or horseradish, followed by half a liter of milk.
Or: pasta with ham, topped with grated cheese, a large serving of fresh salad with oil or mayonnaise, and bread with butter and cheese. Again, half a liter of milk or a glass of beer beforehand.
Or: 200g of fried fish, a serving of potato salad, a fruit salad with cream, and half a liter of milk or a glass of beer.
Or: a large serving of rice with milk and fresh fruits or fruit juice, two slices of bread generously spread with butter, and half a liter of milk.
Before bed, you might also enjoy a glass of milk with honey or an apple.
Along with all this, make sure to get plenty of rest, engage in sports or gardening, and prioritize a full night’s sleep.
