Pickled Peppers for Stuffing

Ingredients:

For a 3-liter jar:

  • 1 tablespoon of salt
  • 1 tablespoon of vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 4 black peppercorns
  • Boiling water

Instructions:

Wash the peppers, cut off the stems, and remove the seeds. Pack them tightly into the jar, adding all the ingredients directly into the jar as well. Pour boiling water over the peppers until they are fully submerged.

Sterilize the jar in boiling water for 10 minutes.

Seal the jar and turn it upside down, covering it with a warm cloth.

This marinated pepper is perfect for stuffing and also makes a great addition to salads during the winter months.
