Liver with Mushrooms

Chicken Liver with Mushrooms

Ingredients:

  • 200 g (about 7 oz) chicken liver
  • 60 g (about 2 oz) mushrooms
  • 1/2 onion
  • 1 tablespoon chopped herbs
  • 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Start by slicing the onion into half-moons. Clean the mushrooms, removing any dirt, and slice them into thin strips. Rinse the chicken liver and cut it into large pieces.

In a skillet, heat the vegetable oil and sauté the onion until it becomes translucent. Next, add the mushrooms and cook them over low heat until they turn golden brown.

Add the chicken liver to the skillet with the mushrooms and onions. Cook until the liver is fully done, stirring occasionally. In the final moments of cooking, add the chopped herbs, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
