Bees Are Engaged in Smuggling

To transport goods from one country to another, you often have to pay customs duties. However, merchants are reluctant to part with a portion of their earnings for the government. One clever trader was determined to smuggle 100 kilograms of honey from Italy to Switzerland. What to do? He had a cunning idea involving bees…

Along with an accomplice in this shady operation, he brought jars of honey to the very border and hid them in the woods. Crossing the border empty-handed, he quickly returned with several beehives filled with bees. The bees set out to search for floral nectar and easily discovered the jars of honey hidden in the bushes. In no time, the jars were emptied—every drop of honey was safely transported into the hives on the other side of the border.
