Brine Salad

Take three medium potatoes, 150 to 200 grams of sausage, two pickled or brined cucumbers, one small herring, an apple, and a carrot.

Boil the potatoes and carrot. Chop all the vegetables, sausage, herring, and apple, and mix them together (add the potatoes last). Season with salt and pepper, add a bit of mustard, and dress with sour cream.
