Pea Patties

Pea fritters

**Ingredients:**
– Dried peas: 2 cups
– Eggs: 2
– Onion: 1
– Semolina: 4 tablespoons
– Breadcrumbs: 4 tablespoons
– Oil: for frying
– Black pepper and salt: to taste

Soak the peas overnight, then boil them and pass through a sieve.
Prepare a thick semolina porridge using water and mix it into the pea puree.
Peel and finely chop the onion, then sauté it in oil until it turns light brown, and add it to the pea puree as well.
Thoroughly mix the mixture and pass it through a meat grinder.
Add the raw eggs, salt, and black pepper to taste, and mix everything well.
Shape the mixture into patties, coat them in breadcrumbs, and fry in heated oil until golden brown.
Serve hot, drizzled with warm oil.
