The Neighbor in Shock

A friend of mine had her husband leave for a couple of days. One morning, she stepped out onto the landing with her little daughter and noticed their neighbor. She greeted him, but her daughter remained silent.

The mother said to her, “Sasha, what do you need to say to the nice man?”
The little girl replied, “Our dad is on a business trip!”
