Sausage Rolls
Ingredients:
- Sausages: 6 pieces
- Warm milk: 1 cup
- Butter: 30 g (about 2 tablespoons)
- Vegetable oil: 1 tablespoon
- Egg: 1
- Sugar: 1 teaspoon
- Salt: 0.5 teaspoon
- Dry yeast: 1 teaspoon
- Flour: 2 cups
Instructions:
- Dissolve the yeast and sugar in the warm milk.
- Beat the egg with salt, vegetable oil, and melted butter.
- Add the egg mixture to the milk with the yeast and sugar.
- Sift the flour and gradually add it to form a soft dough.
- Shape the dough into a ball and coat it with vegetable oil.
- Place it in a warm spot to rise.
- Once the dough has doubled in size, divide it into 6 pieces and roll each piece slightly.
- Wrap each piece of dough around a sausage.
- Place them on a greased baking sheet and let them rest for 10 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
- Bake the sausage rolls for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
