Spaghetti with Cheese and Sausage in Tomato Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 200g of spaghetti (about 7 oz)
  • 4-5 tomatoes
  • 250g of smoked sausage (about 9 oz)
  • 100g of cheese (about 3.5 oz)
  • 3 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Cut the sausage into small strips.
  2. Blanch the tomatoes in boiling water, peel them, and chop them into small pieces.
  3. In a skillet heated with olive oil, add the sausage, tomatoes, and minced garlic, then season with pepper. Cook while stirring.
  4. Bring water to a boil, add salt and olive oil.
  5. Cook the spaghetti until al dente, then drain in a colander.
  6. Add the spaghetti to the skillet with the sausage and tomatoes, and mix well.
  7. Stir in the grated cheese.
  8. Cover with a lid and wait until the cheese melts.
  9. When serving, garnish the dish with fresh parsley.
