What to Do If a Mushroom Appears in the House

Eat it right away. You’ll need to dismantle the wooden structures of the floor affected by the fungus.
Clean off any mold and residue.
Burn any damaged wood.
The next step is treating the structures with antiseptics.
The best options include sodium fluoride and uralite in a 3-5% solution, carbolineum, and heated creosote oil.
Apply the antiseptics with a brush or spray them twice onto the affected vertical surfaces, allowing a two-hour interval between applications.
For horizontal surfaces, first moisten them, then cover with an antiseptic mixed with sand or fresh sawdust.
When working with antiseptics, it’s crucial to be very careful and cautious; prepare the solutions while wearing protective clothing and, of course, rubber boots and safety goggles.
Do not smoke or eat while handling antiseptics.
