Time Flies: A Reflection on Life’s Rush

It feels like I wrote my last article a hundred years ago! It’s awful; time is just mocking me, proving its superiority at every turn. It’s been three weeks since I was discharged from the hospital! Honestly, in this whirlwind, I almost feel like I was never sick at all. I don’t even have a moment to think: how do I actually feel???

I really dislike this race. This rat race, this hamster wheel existence, this life of “Hello, pillow! Goodbye, pillow!”—none of it brings happiness because you hardly have time to ask yourself, “Oh, am I happy?” It just steals time—the most precious thing we have.

If we’re going to run, let it be toward what our hearts desire, doing what brings us joy, connecting with those we love (at the very least, finding time for that), and simply being able to stop and say to ourselves: STOP! Where are you rushing off to? Are you even heading in the right direction? And if you must hurry, take care of yourself—breathe and enjoy a cup of tea! :))
