3 Years and 5 Months – Buying a Stels Joy 12 Bicycle

Today is the day I fulfill my promise to my daughter: to buy her a beautiful tricycle.

I spent a long time researching online to find the best tricycle for her. Since we haven’t ridden a bike yet, I decided to get a tricycle with a parent handle and a rear foot brake for learning purposes. This way, it can be passed down to my two-year-old son for full use later on.

I’m heading to the movies with Sasha. The shuttle bus has arrived at the final stop, and everyone gets off.

We get on along with a few other people, and the driver is taking a break. Sasha is puzzled and asks why we aren’t moving. She says, “Is there not enough people?” I explain to her, “When there are many, they are people, but one is a person.” Sasha thinks for a moment, then looks around at everyone and says, “Mom, is it true that if we all, PEOPLE, get off, then the driver will be a PERSON!”

Sasha comes home from preschool and says, “Mom, today I gave Borya a WOLF mask – he looked just like a wolf!!!”

We’re reading “Little Red Riding Hood.” In the picture, the wolf is dressed up as the grandmother. I point to it and say, “Sasha, look, it’s Grandma!” And she replies, “Mom, don’t you get it? That’s the wolf who DISGUISED HIMSELF as Grandma!!!”

At bedtime, I’m trying to get Sasha to sleep. She just can’t settle down. Then she tells me, “Mom, I don’t want to sleep at night – I want to sleep in the morning!”

I’m telling Sasha a fairy tale: the dad went to work, and then the girl was kidnapped by Baba Yaga. Sasha jumps up and sincerely exclaims, “Mom! Why didn’t the dad PROTECT her!”
