Easy Apple Pie With a Light Whipped-Egg Topping

Spread a layer of sugar (about 0.6 inches) on a baking sheet, then place peeled and sliced tart apples on top, and bake them in a moderately warm oven.
Once the apples begin to bubble, pour over them a batter made from 5 eggs whipped with 5 tablespoons of sugar, mixed with 5 tablespoons of flour and a touch of vanilla.
Return the baking sheet to the oven for a few more minutes.
When the pie cools, transfer it to a cake stand and decorate it with egg whites whipped into stiff peaks.
