Twins. Who Are They?

Our Life as Twins

My life with Ira is all about being twins. Sometimes it’s really nice to feel special, but other times, it’s exhausting to be constantly compared, endlessly judged on who’s prettier, who’s smarter, who’s heavier, and so on. People often don’t understand that for twins, their other half is always more precious, always more beautiful, always smarter… and feeling smarter or prettier than the most important person in the world brings no joy, only pain from seeing your best friend being hurt (or, in fact, being hurt yourself). These feelings are hard to put into words; it’s always more painful and upsetting to feel for each other than for oneself.

When we were involved in music and played at academic concerts, I didn’t care how I performed, but when Ira played, I turned into a bundle of nerves. When one of us gets sick, the other inevitably feels it too. It’s almost a given that we always get sick at the same time (even now, after many years of living apart, we still have the same teeth issues and our nails peel at the same time, etc.). In childhood, we were observed at the Institute of Twins: we have nearly identical fingerprints, and all our internal organs are completely identical (even with pathologies!)—we’re clones, to say the least!

An astonishing fact about our lives is that we share one biofield (aura). It’s precisely because of this that we feel each other’s emotions and get sick simultaneously. Two different psychics have tried to separate it, and both times it reconnected! That’s how inseparable we turned out to be!
