Cheesy Potato Bake with Onions and Carrots

Ingredients

  • Potatoes – 2.2 lbs (1 kg)
  • Large carrot – 1
  • Large onion – 1
  • Sour cream – 3 tablespoons
  • Cheese – 1.8 oz (50 g)
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

Peel the potatoes and cut them into large chunks. Boil the potatoes until tender.

Peel the onion and slice it into half-moons.

Peel the carrot and grate it.

Sauté the onion and carrot in oil, then mix them with the potatoes. Add salt, black pepper, and sour cream, and stir well.

Transfer the mixture to a baking dish, sprinkle with grated cheese, and bake the dish until the top is golden brown.
