Cognac-Marinated Pork — Quick Seared Chunks

Pork in a cognac marinade

Pork Marinade Recipe

  • Pork: 500g (about 1.1 lb)
  • Mustard: 1 tablespoon
  • Ginger: 2 cm (about 0.8 inches)
  • Cognac: 3 tablespoons
  • Garlic: 2 cloves
  • Fresh lemon juice: 1 tablespoon
  • Salt and pepper: to taste

Cut the pork into chunks. Finely grate the ginger and garlic. In a bowl, combine the cognac, mustard, lemon juice, grated garlic, and grated ginger, and season the mixture with salt and pepper. Coat the pork with the marinade and let it sit for an hour.

Heat a skillet over high heat and sear the pork until golden brown. Then pour the marinade into the skillet and simmer the pork for 20 minutes.
