Creamy Cod and Farmer’s Cheese Pâté

Cod and fresh cheese pâté

Boil fillets of cod or hake, then pass them through a meat grinder. Add a lightly sautéed onion and salt, then grind the mixture again. Combine the fish with fresh cheese (like farmer’s cheese), season the mixture with oil, and mix well. Transfer the mixture to a greased sauté pan and bake.

Serve the pâté chilled.

For 350 g of cod or hake, you’ll need 250 g of fresh cheese, 1 tablespoon of oil, 1 onion, 1/2 tablespoon of butter, and salt to taste.
