Ingredients
- Pumpkin flesh: 500 g (about 1.1 lbs)
- Milk: 0.5 liters (about 2 cups)
- Water: 1 cup
- Sugar: 2 tablespoons
- Vanilla sugar: 1 packet
- Cinnamon: ½ teaspoon
- Butter, to taste
- A pinch of salt
Instructions
- Cut the pumpkin flesh into small cubes, pour in the water, and bring to a boil.
- After 15 minutes, add the milk, a bit of salt, and both the regular and vanilla sugar.
- Gently mash the pumpkin with a potato masher right in the pot.
- Cook for another 20–25 minutes until the pumpkin is fully cooked and tender.
- Add butter and sprinkle with cinnamon, then stir to combine.
