Ingredients:
- Dried peas: 2 cups
- Eggs: 2
- Onion: 1
- Semolina: 4 tablespoons
- Breadcrumbs: 4 tablespoons
- Oil: for frying
- Black pepper and salt: to taste
Soak the peas overnight. Boil them, then press them through a sieve.
Cook the semolina in water until thick, then stir it into the pea puree.
Peel and finely chop the onion. Sauté it in oil until light brown, then add it to the pea puree.
Mix everything thoroughly and run the mixture through a meat grinder.
Add the raw eggs, salt, and black pepper to taste, and mix everything well.
Shape the mixture into patties, coat them in breadcrumbs, and fry them in hot oil until golden brown.
Serve the patties hot, drizzled with warm oil.
