Cucumbers: The Simple Beauty Trick for Brighter Skin and Stronger Hair

Cucumbers
Grandmothers have used cucumbers for centuries to tone and brighten facial skin. They’re especially popular for people with freckles and pigmentation spots. What makes cucumbers stand out in cosmetics is how quickly and effectively they work. They’re beneficial for women of all ages.

The beauty industry makes lotions with names like “Cucumber,” “Aya,” and “Aphrodite,” but you can also make effective skincare remedies at home. If you have oily hair, try a mixture of equal parts cucumber juice and cabbage juice. Rubbing the mixture into the scalp can strengthen hair and promote growth.

Wipe dry skin with cucumber juice mixed with 2-3 drops of vegetable oil (olive or sunflower) per tablespoon. After a few days, you’ll notice a refreshing change in your complexion. Cucumber peel is rich in vitamins and minerals, so don’t throw it away; apply it to your face and neck and cover it with a towel. Leave the peel in place for 20-30 minutes, then remove it and don’t rinse your face.
