Easy Homemade Watermelon Lemonade

Watermelon lemonade
8 cups watermelon cubes (about 1-inch), seedless (approximately 4.4 lbs of watermelon)
1 1/2 cups fresh lemon juice (about 8 lemons)
3 1/2 cups water
1 cup granulated white sugar

For serving:
ice cubes or frozen watermelon cubes
lemon wedges and/or watermelon slices

Combine watermelon and lemon juice in a food processor or blender. Blend the mixture until smooth.
Strain the puree through a sieve to remove pulp and any remaining seeds.
Pour into a pitcher.
Bring the water and sugar to a boil in a medium saucepan over high heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
Pour the hot syrup into the pitcher with the lemonade.
Chill the lemonade in the refrigerator for about 2 hours.
Fill glasses with ice (or frozen watermelon cubes), then pour in the watermelon lemonade.
