Egg-in-a-Hole: The Easy Eggs-in-Bread Breakfast

Ingredients:

  • 2 slices of bread
  • 2 eggs
  • Butter and salt, to taste

Instructions:

  1. Cut out the soft center of each slice of bread.
  2. Spread butter on both sides of each slice and on the cut-out centers.
  3. Fry the slices in a skillet until golden brown, then flip them.
  4. Crack one egg into each slice. Cook for 2-3 minutes. Flip them if you want the yolks to set.

Top the toasts with cheese or deli meat, if desired.
