Frozen cauliflower: a recipe for winter dishes.

Frozen cauliflower: a recipe for winter dishesHow to prepare frozen cauliflower is straightforward: just like fresh cauliflower. You can boil it, steam it, bake it, sauté it, or stew it. Modern freezing methods preserve the vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants found in fresh cauliflower. The process is so simple that it doesn’t even require a detailed list of ingredients. The main ingredient is cauliflower, and the quantity depends on the available space in your freezer.
Preparation
Remove the outer leaves from the head, break it into small florets, and boil them in water with a bit of citric acid (the solution should be slightly acidic) for three minutes.
Drain the water and let the florets dry. Place the cauliflower into portion-sized containers and put them in the freezer. The shelf life of frozen florets is six months.

Life Hack

If you’re not freezing the vegetables in portion-sized containers, first spread the florets on a board and place them in the freezer for a few hours. Then transfer them to bags: this way, the cauliflower won’t stick together, allowing you to easily take the desired amount for cooking without thawing the entire batch.
