- carp (whole fresh fish): 2.2 lbs
- lemon: 1
- fish seasoning and salt to taste, lettuce leaves, basil, and dill for garnish
- Rinse the fish, gut it, and remove the scales. Cut off the head and tail. Squeeze the juice from half the lemon and reserve the other half for garnish.
- Rub the carp lightly inside and out with salt, drizzle it with lemon juice, and sprinkle it with fish seasoning.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or grease it with oil. Place the carp on the sheet and make several diagonal cuts across the fish. Bake the fish in the oven at medium heat for 20-25 minutes, until the fish is fully cooked. Transfer the hot carp to a plate and garnish it with lettuce leaves, basil, dill, and lemon wedges.
