How to Make Beef Stroganoff

Beef Stroganoff
Wash the meat, remove the tendons, pound it, and cut it into thin strips against the grain.
Finely chop the onion and sauté it in oil.
Add the meat, season with salt and pepper, and stir-fry over high heat for 5–6 minutes.
Then sprinkle the meat with flour, mix well, and cook for another 2–3 minutes.
After that, pour in sour cream (a thicker, tangier Eastern European sour cream), stir to combine, bring the sauce to a boil, and season the sauce with salt.
Serve with fried potatoes or mashed potatoes.
For 500g of meat, use three-quarters of a cup of sour cream, 2 onions, a tablespoon of flour, and 3–5 tablespoons of oil.
