GabyOne Year Ago: A Day Full of Joy
I remember that day a year ago, and tears well up in my eyes because it was so full of joy and happiness that words can’t capture it. I can still vividly recall Sasha’s first cry, her big gray eyes that seemed unable to fully open but were so eager to see her mom! And my happiness at her arrival… it was simply immense! It’s something you can’t describe or convey. You just know that for this little bundle, the most desired and beloved, you would give your life.
In her first year, Sasha has already grown to 30 inches (77 cm) and weighs 24 pounds (10.9 kg). And her intelligence!!! It’s so easy and simple to communicate with her: everything I say, she understands. She follows any request. Absolutely not spoiled, but very persistent. She’s such a sweetheart: she loves everyone and shares everything. She absolutely loves to kiss, especially on the lips. She adores her brothers, Alexey and Yegor. With Alexey, they are inseparable! Recently, her favorites also include Dad, Grandma Dusia, and Ira. And now, Grandpa Valerka has earned a special place in her heart.
She sleeps precisely twice a day (at 10 AM and 2 PM). She prefers savory foods (like meat and vegetable purees) over sweet ones (like cereals and bananas). Lately, she’s developed a fondness for strawberries. And of course, her biggest passion is breastfeeding! Words can’t express her emotions about it. Just like the love she has for me. We simply can’t live without each other!
