Flatbreads with starch and sour cream
Ingredients:

200g of flour (about 1.6 cups)
50g of starch (about 1/2 cup)
50g of butter (about 3.5 tablespoons)
100g of sugar (about 1/2 cup)
1 egg
3 tablespoons of sour cream (a thicker, tangier version of sour cream common in Eastern European cuisine)
0.5 teaspoon of baking soda
Vanillin

Cream the butter with the sugar, egg, sour cream, and vanillin. Gradually add the flour mixed with baking soda and starch, and knead the dough. Knead until bubbles start to form. Then roll it out on a floured surface, prick it with a fork, cut out circles, place them on a greased baking sheet, and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (about 400°F) for 15 minutes.
