1 orange
44 coffee beans
44 teaspoons of sugar
1 bottle of vodka (0.5 liters)
Start with a small orange (one that fits into a one-liter jar) and wash it thoroughly. Using a knife, carefully pierce the skin of the orange down to the flesh, and insert the coffee beans into these holes. Do this over a plate, as juice will run out of the orange. Place the stuffed orange into the jar, add the sugar, and pour in the vodka. Seal it with a nylon lid. Keep it in a dark place for 44 days, stirring occasionally to ensure the sugar dissolves completely. Squeeze the juice from the orange. Once ready, pour the liqueur into a bottle. The liqueur has a delightful orange flavor with a noticeable hint of coffee.
