Ингредиенты:
100ml of water
50g of butter
100g of flour
500-600g of powdered sugar
8 tbsp of cocoa powder (you can use less for a lighter color)
a pinch of salt
I really liked this fondant for its color and affordability. Its downside is the moisture content, but it tastes great.
To make it, bring the water, butter, salt, and cocoa powder to a boil, stirring well. Then add the flour to create a thick chocolate dough. Let it cool. Gradually add the powdered sugar while kneading the fondant. Use all the powdered sugar to achieve a pliable mass. Place the finished fondant in a bag, seal it tightly, and refrigerate for a couple of hours. Once you take it out of the fridge, knead it again to restore its softness and flexibility.
This fondant has properties similar to marzipan and is great for making figures. I’ve also shaped some little animals with it. However, it’s not suitable for flowers. Without cocoa, it’s recommended for covering cakes, but I used it to weave a basket. It’s pleasant to work with, just make sure your hands are dry, as it can start to stick.
