150 g honey
300 g flour
2 eggs
100 g sugar
150 g nuts
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp ground cinnamon
Make a well in the flour, pour in the honey cooked with cinnamon, and mix lightly. Add the sugar, eggs, baking soda, and knead vigorously for 30 minutes (the longer you knead the dough, the better the honey cakes will rise during baking). Roll out the dough to a thin layer, cut out circles with cookie cutters, brush each with egg, and place a quarter of a nut on top. Bake in a preheated oven (190-200°C or 375-400°F) for 10 minutes. I didn’t use nuts or brush with egg. The honey cakes turned out delicious, almost festive for the New Year and Christmas!)))
