My Life in Sports

I’ve been wanting to write something about sports. I initially thought about titling it “A Little About Work.” But then I realized that being a trainer and engaging in sports is more than just a job—it’s my life. And so, “My Life” was born.

It’s hard for me to imagine how most people live without any physical activity at all. After all, sports are amazing! There are countless options for activities to suit every taste, whether at home or in the gym. After a workout, it feels like you’re infused with a kind of energy boost; you don’t even feel hungry, just ready to live, live, and live some more. Plus, your perspective on life changes, doesn’t it? Often, various problems are addressed through our spiritual side. But here, it seems to me, we can approach it from the opposite direction—by focusing on the physicality of our bodies, we can bring order to our souls and gain a better understanding of ourselves. So many people (if not all!) are dissatisfied with themselves. But what have they done to change that? After all, our perception of ourselves is the foundation for how we perceive everything else! I think everyone has experienced moments when they took out their frustrations on someone else, not because that person was at fault, but because they themselves were struggling.

Sports are my life. I love what I do. Right now, I’m diving into two new courses—Pilates and Rebirthing—and I’m finding them more and more fascinating. But more than anything, I dream of creating something of my own. I have so many insights I’ve developed over the years, and countless ideas waiting to be explored.

For anyone feeling depressed or just a bit down, I want to suggest this: engage in a sport that resonates with you—and you’ll remember what happiness feels like.
