Turkey Salad

Ingredients:

– 200g salad mix (a blend of various greens), or you can use iceberg lettuce
– 1 fresh tomato
– 1 fresh cucumber
– ½ bell pepper
– 200g turkey fillet

For the dressing:
– 1 tablespoon natural honey
– 1 tablespoon lemon juice
– 3 tablespoons soy sauce
– 2 tablespoons water
– ½ teaspoon cornstarch
– Sesame seeds for garnish

Start by seasoning the turkey fillet with spices, salt, and pepper. Sauté it in a skillet until fully cooked, then cut it into pieces.

In a small saucepan, pour in the water and add the honey, melting it over low heat. Once the honey has melted, stir in the soy sauce, lemon juice, and cornstarch. Keep stirring until the mixture thickens. If the sauce becomes too thick, you can thin it out with a bit more water. The sauce should be slightly thickened.

On a plate, arrange the salad. Scatter the chopped tomato, cucumber, and bell pepper over the greens in a random pattern. Top it off with the sliced turkey fillet and drizzle the sauce over everything. Finish by sprinkling sesame seeds on top, and your delightful and unique New Year’s salad is ready to enjoy!
