Pearl Barley Pork Patties

Pork Patties with Pearl Barley

Ingredients:

  • 300g ground pork (approx. 10.5 oz)
  • 1 cup pearl barley
  • 1 egg
  • 1 onion
  • Semolina for breading
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • Salt and spices to taste

Instructions:

Combine the ground pork and pearl barley in a bowl. Add the egg. Grate the onion finely and mix it into the meat mixture. Season the mixture with salt and spices to taste.

Mix the filling thoroughly and shape it into patties. Coat each patty in semolina. Fry the patties in a well-heated skillet with vegetable oil until cooked through.

Serve the patties with vegetables.
