Treat the exterior walls with a solution made from 1 kg of dry soap and 9 liters of water to prevent moisture. Cut the soap into small pieces and soak them. Boil the mixture without stirring to avoid foam. Apply the soapy solution to the exterior walls and let the walls dry for a full day. Then cover the walls with a hot alum solution (300 g of alum in 9 liters of water).
