Quick Pickled Peppers for Stuffing

Ingredients:

For a 3-liter jar:

  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 4 black peppercorns
  • Boiling water

Instructions:

Wash the peppers, cut off the stems, and remove the seeds. Pack the peppers tightly into the jar, and add the remaining ingredients directly to the jar. Pour boiling water over the peppers until they are fully submerged.

Sterilize the jar in boiling water for 10 minutes.

Seal the jar, turn the jar upside down, and cover the jar with a warm cloth.

These marinated peppers are perfect for stuffing and also make a great addition to salads during the winter months.
