Ingredients: raspberries – 1 kg; honey – 400 g; vinegar – 400 ml.
Soak the raspberries in vinegar for 5 days, stirring and mashing the berries with a spoon periodically.
Strain the mixture and heat it for 5 minutes over low heat (do not bring to a boil). Let it cool slightly, add the honey, mix well, and pour into bottles while still warm. To prepare the tonic drink, add 3 tablespoons of the raspberry-honey tonic to a glass of water.
Life Hack
The temperature of the base for adding honey should be below 42°C to preserve its antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties. The secret of honey lies in the fact that it is more beneficial when simply sucked rather than dissolved in water, milk, or tea: dissolved honey is not always well absorbed. For facial care, the raspberry-honey tonic works wonders: it moisturizes, balances pH after washing, and prepares the skin for better absorption of creams or other skincare products.
