Sugar Pie


Ingredients:

Dough:
250g of flour
100g of milk
15g of yeast
2 eggs
100g of room temperature butter
100g of sugar
Salt, vanilla sugar
200g of cream

Topping:
30g of butter
50g of sugar

In warm milk, add the yeast and 1 teaspoon of sugar to let it “wake up.”
Then, add the eggs, butter, and gradually mix in the flour.
Knead the dough until it’s soft and sticky.
Let it rise for 1 hour.
Grease a baking dish with butter and spread the dough evenly in the dish, allowing it to rise for another 30 minutes.
After that, moisten your finger with butter and make small indentations in the dough, then sprinkle with the topping.
For the topping, mix the butter and sugar together, then sprinkle it over the pie.
Bake at 180 degrees Celsius (about 350 degrees Fahrenheit) for 25-30 minutes. Afterward, remove it from the oven and pour the cream over the pie, then return it to the oven for another 6-10 minutes.
