Savory Meat-Stuffed Pancakes

  • Eggs: 4
  • Kefir: 2 cups
  • Baking soda: ½ tablespoon
  • Salt: ½ teaspoon
  • Flour: 2½ cups
  • Ground meat: 500 g (about 1.1 lb)
  • Onion: 1

Chop the onion and sauté it until golden. Mix the onion into the ground meat and season with salt and pepper to taste.

In a separate bowl, combine the kefir, salt, and baking soda. Neutralize the baking soda with vinegar. Beat the eggs and add them to the mixture. Gradually stir in the sifted flour.

Heat a skillet. Spoon 1 tablespoon of batter into the pan, add a small amount of the meat mixture, then top with another tablespoon of batter. Fry until golden brown on both sides. Repeat with the remaining batter and meat mixture.
