Ingredients:
- 200 g of margarine or very soft butter (about 7 oz)
- 2 egg yolks
- 3/4 cup of sugar (white or brown) or a sweetener to taste
- 2 cups of flour
- 1 tsp of baking powder
- 1 tsp of cinnamon
- 2 tbsp of cocoa powder
- 2-3 tbsp of milk
- 100 g of chopped nuts (about 3.5 oz)
Beat the butter with the sugar and egg yolks until creamy. Add the sifted flour, cocoa powder mixed with baking powder, and cinnamon. Mix until smooth. Stir in half of the nuts. Gradually add milk, one tablespoon at a time, until you achieve a soft, slightly sticky dough. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Using your hands, take small pieces of dough and roll them into balls. The dough should not stick to your hands. Roll each ball in the remaining nuts. Place them on the baking sheet.
Bake for 15-20 minutes at 180°C (about 350°F).
